My name is Tegan Atkins. I’m an Australian and Aotearoa (New Zealand) woman from South-East Queensland. I was born in Bundaberg on the lands of the Taribelang Bunda people. Currently live in Naarm (Melbourne) on the lands of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation.

For more than 70 thousand years they have been caring for the lands and water here on which we live and rely. And so I’d like to take a moment to acknowledge the Taribelang Bunda, Maori and Wurundjeri and thank them for looking after the land I’ve lived, worked and played on for 30 years.
